Biography

I was raised in the mountains of Southern California. At 18 I attended San Diego State University (SDSU). A short time later I began working as a process server delivering subpoenas.

In 1990, I left San Diego and transferred to the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) and joined the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity.

In 1991, I was presented with and jumped at an opportunity to live and work in Paris, France.

1993 was a difficult time for me as I lost 2 of my dearest friends. Eric Mark lost his life at gun point. Jim O'Neil in a car.

Throughout the Nineties I continued to work for myself and traveled immensely. During this period I met my sole mate and coerced her into coming with me.

The new millennium and 9/11 brought a switch of focus. I partnered with two friends to form a computer services company specializing in web development.

The birth of my child intensified my drive to build up the new company.

After several years of business the partners sold the company and stayed on as management. At one point I had 4 great employees building and designing a multitude of projects.

With the economic downturn starting at the end of 2007, I left the company and started a job with a recycling company as their senior programmer.

Like many of Americans, I was laid off near the end of 2008. I then took a contact position with a startup as a software engineer/Flash web developer.

I consider myself a Renaissance man and have a strong background in computers, science, finance, law and business.

My personal interests include mountaineering, motorcycle riding and surfing.
